My personal opinion about picture quality.100% colour accurate and real life colours (still with unnatural skin most of the time) does not make watching a screen more enjoyable. Zidoo has Custom Edid, worse DVD/BD menu handling, the control app sucks.but for the technicians among us who want to use traditional remotes, use Custom Edid or Vertex, you can achieve the best. Technically, I think (I'm not technical) both devices are quite similar, but as said a 100 times here, Dune has a magnificent Control App, better (perfect) DVD/BD menu handling and rock steady file handling. There was a difference in colour saturation between Auto and DV and I adjusted that to my own preferences. I use the VS10 engine because I had a few files with bad dark scenes and switching from Auto to DV made those dark scenes better on OLED 42 inch.
